Nikhitha is a Sardarni born to Irinder Singh Thukral, a entrepreneurs and Navinder Kaur Thukral and brought up in Bombay. After training in acting from Kishore Namith Kapoo,she did many ads, music videos and some Hindi tele-series like Apni Khushi Apne Gam, Sanjog and Khel. And, therefore, that she made her big screen debut with Telugu film Hal, directed by EVV Satya Narayana. And she acted in Kai Eththum Dooraththu, by none other than Fazil, one of the most popular Malayalam filmmakers Nikhitha debut in Malayalam films paired with her is Fazil's son Shanu.
